EventMingle is the first full featured online social networking application designed from the ground up to allow people to Meet, Interact, Plan and Engage prior to arriving at the event. It was designed from several viewpoints:

- Attendees - They want to meet other attendees to compare notes on exhibitors and products and they would like to meet attendees who are attending the same technical sessions to discuss similar problems and issues relating to the topic. They would also like to meet exhibitors to learn more about their products and services while not wasting time in their booth hunting down the right person. They also want to know about events such as parties or activities being hosted by the exhibitor as well as any giveaway items the exhibitor plans to have at the event. Finally, they may also be interested in job openings available by companies attending the event.
- Exhibitors - It's simple, they want to connect with buyers and decision makers attending the conference. They want to brief editors and analysts about upcoming new products. They want to be able to manage their pre-event marketing using state of the art tools to get their booth invitations out. They want an easy way to make appointments with editors to do "booth demos". They want speakers attending the event to know who they are and why they're great. Finally, they want their booth busting out into the isle with qualified buyers so the entire trade show knows they are the top dog!
- Editors & Analysts - They want a powerful appointment scheduler and access to exhibitors and attendees so they can do their research. They want to be able to view discussion forums to see what people really think regarding a product announcement. They want to have a powerful searching tool that makes it easy for them to find people based on their title, products they use, location or session they attend. Simply put, they want access to people and they want it to be quick and easy!
- Speakers - They would love to be able to connect to the attendees before the event to find out why they're going to the event and make sure their speech is "on message" and relevant to what the attendees are interested in. Each time you log in, we'll show you a couple new faces and one click of a button will give you even more detail while keeping your true identity a secret until you decide to let them know more. You can even add your photo to help them recognize you when you arrive at the event.
Powerful Search Features!
In fact, EventMingle's key philosophy is to help people Meet, Interact, Plan and Engage prior to arriving at the actual event. Our search engine was designed to make finding people easy.
For example, say you want to meet someone who might be flying to the event from a specific city. Location Search will take care of that for you. Lets say you're going to the event to meet with a vendor about a specific product and you want to meet someone who uses that product. Exhibitor Interest Search will give you a list of all attendees insterested in a specific exhibitor. Ok, what if you signed up to attend a specific session at the conference and you want to see who else will be in that session. Use our Session Search for that! We didn't stop there, you can also find people based on Message Forum Topics, keywords in a Job Title, and based on their interest in a specific Exhibitor Giveaway Item or Treasure.
Built-in Email System eliminates virus issues and spam!
With EventMingle you don't have to worry about additional spam or email viruses either. That is because all email communication on EventMingle remains on EventMingle! You can configure EventMingle to send alerts to your external email account. For example, when you have mail waiting, so you don't have to login and check EventMingle constantly. Your mailbox on EventMingle is organized in three folders: messages from attendees, messages from exhibitors and appointment requests.

It just seems logical that events should make it possible for companies with job openings to meet with job seekers. EventMingle once again makes this possible. Any company attending the event (either as an attendee or exhibitor) can post their job openings. Job Seekers can post an anonymous abbreviated resume that keeps the true identity of the job seeker hidden until they decide to grant interested companies access to their contact info.

Your personal Day Planner is built right in!
Time Management is one of the biggest challenges when attending a trade show. You have exhibitors you want to see, sessions you need to attend and keynote speakers you want to see. Large shows can be daunting, reading the exhibitor guide, writing yourself notes, it can be a major headache! EventMingle simplifies the process. Once your conference registration is completed with the show organizer and you opt-in to join EventMingle, your name and confirmed sessions are added to your personal Day Planner on EventMingle. Then as you come across exhibitors or products you want to see you just click on the interested tab and that item is added to your to-do list. If you want to schedule a specific appointment with an exhibitor you simply click on the exhibitor and request an appointment. Once confirmed, the specific appointment is added to your Day Planner. Since you can attach notes to each of your to-do items you're able to manage even the largest events with ease. You can even keep track of the cool giveaway items exhibitors are planning to give away at the event so you don't forget! Finally, right before you leave for the event, or from your hotel room the night before, you can print out your Day Planner or have it sent to your email, cell phone or PDA. COSTS AND BUSINESS MODEL.
EventMingle assumes 100% of the cost of running and moderating your EventMingle community. There is a small set-up fee to help defer our professional services and hardware costs to get your site up and running. Once your site is up, we generate income from advertising purchased on the site and other premium services (like positng on the Job Board). Fees are determined on an event by event basis and is completely customized by us, in partnership with you.
A portion of the revenue generated on the site is then shared back with you so it becomes an additional, on-going source of revenue for you. Your account manager can review our business model with you in much greater detail once we talk a little more about your event. In order to help us with our analysis, we'll need to know the following:
- Type of event (Conference, Tradeshow, Expo, Other).
- Number of expected attendees (number of badges you expect to print).
- Number of exhibiting companies.
- Location of the event. (City, State, Country)
- When is the event held? How long is the event?
- Cost for attendees. Average sq/foot price for exhibitors.
